Lace Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Mesh Stitch:

Multiple of 10 + 4 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 16 stitches (10 + 4 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl all stitches and yo's.

The pat rep = 10 sts.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Rows 1 and 5: edge st, * yo (yarn over), skpo *, repeat from * to *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k2tog, yo *, repeat from * to *, edge st.

Rows 7, 11, 15: edge st, * (k2tog, yo) twice, k6, repeat from * to the last 5 sts, (k2tog, yo) twice, edge st.

Row 9 and 13: edge st, * (yo, skpo) twice, k6, repeat from * to the last 5 sts, (yo, skpo) twice, edge st.

Repeat rows 1-16 throughout.
