How to knit Fisherman's Rib Stitch:

Multiple of 2 + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 15 stitches (2 stitches 6 times + 1 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to сhart.

RS rows and WS rows are shown.

The pat rep = 2 stitches wide.

Row 1: knit all stitches.

Row 2: purl all stitches.

Row 3: edge stitch, * slip k1 with yo together pwise, k1, repeat from *, slip k1 with yo together pwise, edge stitch.

Rows 4, 6, 8 and 10: edge stitch, knit stitch with yo together, * slip p1 with yo together pwise, knit stitch with yo together, repeat from *, edge stitch.

Rows 5, 7, 9 and 11: edge stitch, * slip p1 with yo together pwise, knit stitch with yo together, repeat from *, slip p1 with yo together pwise, edge stitch.

Row 12: purl all stitches.

Row 13: edge stitch, k1, * slip k1 with yo together pwise, k1, repeat from *, edge stitch.

Rows 14, 16, 18 and 20: edge stitch, slip p1 with yo together pwise, * knit stitch with yo together, slip p1 with yo together pwise, repeat from *, slip p1 with yo together pwise, edge stitch.

Rows 15, 17, 19 and 21: edge stitch, knit stitch with yo together, * slip p1 with yo together pwise, knit stitch with yo together, repeat from *, edge stitch.

Row 22: purl all stitches.

Work Rows 1-22 once, then repeat Rows 3-22 throughout.
