Easy Knitting Stitch for Beginners

How to knit the Easy Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 10 sts + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 23 sts (10 + 10 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows Right Side and Wrong Side rows.

The numbers at right edge of chart indicate RS rows, and at left edge WS rows.

Read RS rows from right to left, WS rows from left to right.

The patt rep = 10 sts wide.

Row 1 and all odd-numbered rows: knit all stitches.

Row 2: edge st, p1, * p3, k3, p4 *; repeat from * to *, edge st.

Row 4: edge st, p1, * p2, k5, p3 *; repeat from * to *, edge st.

Row 6: edge st, p1, * p1, k3, p1, k3, p2 *; repeat from * to *, edge st.

Row 8: edge st, p1, * k3, p3, k3, p1 *; repeat from * to *, edge st.

Row 10: purl all stitches.

Repeat Rows 1-10 throughout.
