Leaf Lace Knit Stitch Pattern

How to knit the Lace Leaf Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 16 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 19 stitches (16 + 1 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work stitches as they appear and purl any yarn overs.
The pattern repeat is 16 stitches wide.
Repeat the pattern between the edge stitches throughout.
Abbreviation:
k: knit
p: purl
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

Row 1 (right side): edge stitch, * p1, yo, k3, yo, sk2p, yo, k2tog, yo, k2, sk2p, k2, yo *; repeat from * to *; end with p1, edge stitch.
Row 2 and every even row (wrong side): work stitches as they appear; purl the yarn overs.
Row 3: edge stitch, * p1, yo, k5, yo, sk2p, yo, k2, sk2p, k2, yo *; repeat from * to *; end with p1, edge stitch.
Row 5: edge stitch, * p1, yo, k2, sk2p, k2, yo, skpo, yo, k1, sk2p, k1, yo, k1, yo *; repeat from * to *; end with p1, edge stitch.
