How to knit the Wavy Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 17 stitches + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 19 stitches (17 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.
The chart shows right-side rows and wrong-side rows.
The numbers at right edge of chart indicate right-side rows, and at left edge wrong-side rows.
The pattern repeat is 17 stitches wide.
Repeat the pattern between the edge stitches throughout.
Abbreviation:
k: Knit
p: Purl
yo: yarn over
p2tog: purl 2 stitches together as one
Written Instructions:
Row 1 (right side): Knit.
Rows 2 and 4 (wrong side): Purl.
Row 3: edge stitch, * p2tog 3 times, (yo, k1) 5 times, yo, p2tog 3 times *; repeat from * to *; end with the edge stitch.
Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
