Wavy Drop Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Wavy Drop Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 10 stitches + 6 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 18 sts (10 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side and Wrong Side rows.

The numbers at right edge of chart indicate RS rows, and at left edge WS rows.

The patt rep = 10 sts wide.

Begin with Wrong Side Row 0 (Set-up row).

Row 0 (Set-up row - Wrong Side): knit all stitches across.

Rows 1-4: knit all stitches across.

Row 5: edge st, * (K1 and 1 yarn over) once; (K1 and 2 yo's) 3 times; (K1 and 1 yarn over) once; k5 *; repeat from * to *; (K1 and 1 yarn over) once; (K1 and 2 yo's) 3 times; (K1 and 1 yarn over) once; k1, edge st.

Row 6: knit all sts across while letting the yo's from previous row drop off the needle.

Rows 7-10: knit all stitches across.

Row 11: edge st, * K5, (K1 and 1 yarn over) once; (K1 and 2 yo's) 3 times; (K1 and 1 yarn over) once *; repeat from * to *; k6, edge st.

Row 12: knit all sts across while letting the yo's from previous row drop off the needle.

Work Rows 0-12 once, then repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.
