Vertical Lace Stripes Knitting Pattern

How to knit Vertical Lace Stripes:

Multiple of 6 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 15 sts (1 + 6 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows RS row and WS row.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 6 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st and stitch before patt, work patt rep throughout, end with 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

p2tog: purl 2 stitches together

Row 1: edge st, k1, * k2, yo, k2, skpo, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 2: edge st, p1, * p2, yo, p2, p2tog, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat these 2 rows for pattern.
