How to knit Small Diamond Stitch:

Multiple of 2 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 15 sts (1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 2 sts wide.

Row 1 (Set-up row): knit all sts.

Begin with 1 selv st (edge) and 1 st before the rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 1 selv st.

Work rows 1-9 once, then repeat rows 2-9 throughout.
