How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Multiple of 2 + 2 selvage sts. 

Cast on 12 stitches (2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 selvage sts) and work according to chart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 2 sts.

Rows 1 and 2: edge st, * k1, leave yarn at front of work, place the stitch back on left-hand needle and P2tog with the next stitch, yarn over, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat these 2 rows for pattern.
