How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Multiple of 3 + 2 selvage sts. 

Cast on 14 stitches (3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 2 selvage sts) and work according to chart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 3 sts.

k2tog tbl: knit two stitches together as one stitch through the back loop

yarn over from back to front

slip wyib: slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at back of work

Row 1 (rs): edge st, k2tog tbl, yo (= yarn over) from back to front, slip wyib, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 2 (ws): edge st, k2tog tbl, yo from back to front, slip wyib, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat these 2 rows for pattern.
