Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Multiple of 3 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. 

Cast on 15 stitches (2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 selvage sts) and work according to chart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 3 sts.

Begin with 1 selv st and 2 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 2 sts after patt and 1 selv st.

Row 1: knit all sts.

Row 2: purl all sts.

Row 3: selvage st (edge st), 1 skpo (= slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch), yo, * yo, central double decrease (= slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch), yo, repeat from *, end with yo, K2tog (= knit 2 stitches together), selvage st.

Row 4: selvage st, P2, * K1, P2, repeat from *, end with K1, P1 and selvage st.

Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.
