Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Work with multiple of 4 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches. 

Cast on 15 stitches (4 + 4 + 4 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side and Wrong Side rows.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 4 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Row 1 and all odd-numbered rows (RS): edge st, * p1, k1, repeat from *, end with p1 and edge st.

Row 2 (WS): edge st, k1, * yo, cdd, yo, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 4 (WS): edge st, skpo, yo, k1, * yo, cdd, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 3 sts, yo, k2tog, edge st.

Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
