How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Multiple of 4 sts + 2 selvage sts. 

Cast on 14 stitches (4 + 4 + 4 + 2 selvage sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear or as given in instructions.

The pat rep = 4 sts.

Begin with 1 selv st (edge) and 4 sts before patt, work patt rep throughout, end with 4 sts after patt and 1 selv st. 

Work Rows 1-10 once, then repeat Rows 3-10 throughout.
