Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Work with multiple of 6 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches. 

Cast on 15 stitches (2 + 6 + 5 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side and Wrong Side rows.

The pat rep = 6 sts wide.

Begin with edge st and 2 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 5 sts after patt and edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Row 1: edge st, k2tog, yo, * k3, yo, cdd, yo, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k3, yo, skpo, edge st.

Rows 2 and 4: purl all stitches and yo's.

Row 3: edge st, k2, * yo, cdd, yo, k3, repeat from * to last 6 sts, yo, cdd, yo, k2, edge st.

Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
