Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Multiple of 3 + 2 edge sts. 

Cast on 11 stitches (3 + 3 + 3 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The pat rep = 3 sts.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

Row 1: knit all sts.

Row 3: edge st, * yo (yarn over), k2tog, drop 1st, place 2nd st back on left-hand needle and skpo with the next stitch, repeat from *, yo, edge st.

Row 5: knit all sts.

Row 7: edge st, skpo, * yo, k2tog, drop 1st, place 2nd st back on left-hand needle and skpo with the next stitch, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, yo, k2tog, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.
