How to knit Leaves Stitch:

Multiple of 14 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 17 sts (14 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work sts as they appear and yo's P.

The pat rep = 14 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 st as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

C2FP: slip 1 st to cable needle, hold to front, P1, K st from cable needle

C2BP: slip 1 st to cable needle, hold to back, K1, P st from cable needle

Row 1: edge st, * p1, yo, skpo, p9, k2tog, yo, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * p1, yo, p1, skpo, p7, k2tog, p1, yo, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p1, edge st.
