Leaf Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

Work with a multiple of 18 stitches + 3 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 23 stitches (1 + 18 + 2 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, purl all stitches and any yarn-over loops.

The pattern repeat = 18 stitches wide.

Begin with 1 stitch and 1 stitch before the pattern repeat, work the pattern repeat throughout, end with 2 stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 stitch.

The number of stitches varies within 28 rows of the pattern repeat.

k: Knit

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

K3tog: knit 3 stitches together 

sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): Purl.
