Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Stitch:

Work with multiple of 4 stitches + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 14 sts (4 + 4 + 4 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side rows and Wrong Side rows.

The pat rep = 4 sts wide.

Repeat patt between edge stitches throughout.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

Row 1: edge st, * k2, yo, skpo, repeat from *, edge st.

Rows 2 and 4: purl all sts and yo’s.

Row 3: edge st, * k2tog, yo, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
