Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern
How to knit Lace Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 16 stitches + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 18 sts (16 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only Right Side Rows.
On Wrong Side Rows, purl all sts and yo’s.
The patt rep = 16 sts wide.
Repeat patt between edge stitches throughout.
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
k3tog: knit 3 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches
Row 1: 1 edge st, * k1, (yo, skpo, k2) 3 times, yo, k3tog, yo *; repeat from * to *, 1 edge st.
Row 3: 1 edge st, * k2, (yo, skpo, k2) twice, yo, skpo, k1, k2tog, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *, 1 edge st.
Row 5: 1 edge st, * k2tog, yo, k1, (yo, skpo, k2) twice, yo, k3tog, yo, k2 *; repeat from * to *, 1 edge st.
Row 7: * k2tog, yo, k3, yo, skpo, k2, yo, skpo, k1, k2tog, yo, k2 *; repeat from * to *, k1, 1 edge st.
