Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern
How to knit Lace Stitch:
Work with multiple of 15 stitches + 4 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 21 sts (15 + 4 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows Right Side rows and Wrong Side rows.
The numbers at right edge of chart indicate RS rows, and at left edge WS rows.
Read RS rows from right to left, WS rows from left to right.
The pat rep = 15 sts wide.
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch
p2tog: purl 2 stitches together
p2tog tbl: purl two stitches together as one stitch through the back loop
inc3: insert needle in the stitch in the 2nd row below and pull out loop, K1, insert needle again in the same stitch in the 2nd row below and pull out loop
Row 1: edge st, * p1, yo, skpo, p1, k11 *; repeat from * to *, ending with p1, yo, skpo, p1, edge st.
Rows 2 and 4: edge st, k1, p2, k1, * p11, k1, p2, k1 *; repeat from * to *, ending with edge st.
Row 3: edge st, * p1, k2tog, yo, p1, k11 *; repeat from * to *, ending with p1, k2tog, yo, p1, edge st.
Row 5: edge st, * p1, yo, skpo, p1, k3, k2tog, yo, inc3, yo, skpo, k3 *; repeat from * to *, ending with p1, yo, skpo, p1, edge st.
Row 6: edge st, k1, p2, k1, * p2, p2tog tbl, p5, p2tog, p2, k1, p2, k1 *; repeat from * to *, ending with edge st.
