How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 22 + 9 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 33 sts (3 + 22 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts and yo’s P.

The pat rep = 22 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Row 1: edge st, k3, * yo, cdd, yo, k7, yo, skpo, k1, k2tog, yo, k7, repeat from * to last 7 sts, yo, cdd, yo, k3, edge st.

Rows 3 and 5: edge st, k3, * yo, cdd, yo, k19, repeat from * to last 7 sts, yo, cdd, yo, k3, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, k3, * yo, cdd, yo, k3, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, cdd, yo, k3, yo, skpo, k3, repeat from * to last 7 sts, yo, cdd, yo, k3, edge st.
