Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 10 + 2 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 24 sts (8 + 10 + 4 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The pat rep = 10 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Row 1: edge st, k8, * yo, k1, skpo, k7, repeat from * to last 5 sts, yo, k1, skpo, k1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, k5, k2tog, k1, yo, * k1, yo, k1, skpo, k3, k2tog, k1, yo, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k1, yo, k1, skpo, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, k4, k2tog, k1, yo, k1, * k6, k2tog, k1, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k4, edge st.
