How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 12 + 3 + 2 selvage sts.

Cast on 29 sts (2 + 12 + 12 + 1 + 2 selv sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The pat rep = 12 sts wide.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

K3tog: knit 3 stitches together 

sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

Row 1: edge st, k2, * k3, yo (yarn over), skpo, k4, yo, skpo, k1, repeat from * to the last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, yo, skpo, * k1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, k4, yo, skpo, repeat from * to the last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, k1, yo, * sk2p, yo, k3, yo, skpo, k4, yo, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, skpo, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, k2, * yo, skpo, k4, yo, skpo, k4, repeat from * to the last 2 sts, k1, edge st.
