How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 12 + 2 selvage sts.

Cast on 14 sts (12 + 2 selv sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The pat rep = 12 sts wide.

Row 1: edge st, * p4, k2tog (= knit 2 stitches together), yo (= yarn over), k1, p5, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * p3, k2tog, yo, k3, p4, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * p2, k2tog, yo, k5, p3, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * p1, k2tog, yo, k7, p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, * k2tog, yo, k9, p1, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-10 throughout.
