How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 12 + 5 + 2 selvage sts.

Cast on 19 sts (12 + 5 + 2 selv sts) and work according to chart.

RS rows and WS rows are shown.

Read RS rows from right to left, WS rows from left to right.

The pat rep = 12 sts wide.

k3tog: knit 3 stitches together 

sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

slip wyib: slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at back of work

Row 1: edge st, * p2, slip wyib, p2, k3tog, yo (yarn over), k1, yo, sk2p, repeat from * to last 6 sts, end with p2, slip wyib, p2, edge st.

Row 2: edge st, k2, p1, k2, * p1, yo, p3, yo, p1, k2, p1, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * p2, slip wyib, p2, k7, repeat from * to last 6 sts, p2, slip wyib, p2, edge st.

Row 4: edge st, k2, p1, k2, * p7, k2, p1, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
