How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 6 + 2 selvage sts.

Cast on 20 sts (6 + 6 + 6 + 2 selv sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl across, working (p1, p1 tbl) into each 2yo.

The pat rep = 6 sts wide.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

C2F: slip 1 st to cn (cable needle), hold to front, K1, K st from cn

1/2 Right Cross: slip 2 sts to cn, hold to back, K1, K2 from cn

1/2 Left Cross: slip 1 st to cn, hold to front, K2, K1 from cn

Row 1: knit all sts.

Rows 2 and all WS rows: Purl across, working (p1, p1 tbl) into each 2yo.

Row 3: slv (edge st), * yo (yarn over), skpo, k2, k2tog, yo, repeat from *, slv.

Row 5: slv, * k1, yo, skpo, k2tog, yo, k1, repeat from *, slv.

Row 7: slv, * k2, C2F, k2, repeat from *, slv.

Row 9: slv, * 1/2 Right Cross, 1/2 Left Cross, repeat from *, slv.
