How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 14 + 2 selvage sts.

Cast on 16 sts (14 + 2 selv sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The pat rep = 14 sts wide.

K2tog: knit 2 stitches together.

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch.

Begin with 1 slv st (edge st), work patt rep throughout, end with 1 selv st.

Row 1: slv, * k6, k2tog, yo, k6, repeat from *, slv.

Row 3: slv, * k2, p3, k2tog, yo, k7, repeat from *, slv.

Row 5: slv, * k1, p3, k2tog, yo, k8, repeat from *, slv.

Row 7: slv, * p3, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, k6, repeat from *, slv.

Row 9: slv, * k7, yo, skpo, p3, k2, repeat from *, slv.

Row 11: slv, * k8, yo, skpo, p3, k1, repeat from *, slv.

Row 13: slv, * k6, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, p3, repeat from *, slv.

Work rows 1-14 once, then repeat rows 3-14 throughout.
