How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 22 + 2 selvage sts.

Cast on 24 stitches (22 + 2 selv sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The rep pat = 22 sts wide.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

K3tog: knit 3 stitches together 

sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

Row 1: edge st, * k1, yo (yarn over), k6, k3tog, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, sk2p, k6, yo, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k2, yo, k4, k3tog, k1, yo, k3, yo, k1, sk2p, k4, yo, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k3, yo, k2, k3tog, k1, yo, k5, yo, k1, sk2p, k2, yo, k2, repeat from *, edge st.
