How to knit Lace Rib Stitch:

Multiple of 4 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 15 sts (2 + 4 + 4 + 3 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear; purl yo’s.

The pat rep = 4 sts.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

Rows 1, 3, 5 and 7: edge st, k2, * p2, k2, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, k2, * k2tog, yo, k2, repeat from * to last 4 sts, k2tog, yo, k1, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, k1, k2tog, * yo, k2, k2tog, repeat from * to last 3 sts, yo, k2, edge st.

Row 13: edge st, k2tog, yo, * k2, k2tog, yo, repeat from * to last 4 sts, k3, edge st.

Row 15: edge st, k1, yo, * skpo, k2, yo, repeat from * to last 5 sts, skpo, k2, edge st.

Row 17: edge st, k2, * yo, skpo, k2, repeat from * to last 4 sts, yo, skpo, k1, edge st.

Row 19: edge st, k2, * k1, yo, skpo, k1, repeat from * to last 4 sts, k1, yo, skpo, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-20 throughout.
