Lace Leaf Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Leaf Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 11 stitches + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 24 sts (5 + 11 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side rows, purl all sts and yo's.

The patt rep = 11 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st and 5 sts before patt rep, work patt repeat throughout, end with 6 sts after patt and 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

Rows 1, 3 and 5: edge st, k2tog, k3, yo, * k1, yo, k3, skpo, k2tog, k3, yo *; repeat from * to *; k1, yo, k3, skpo, edge st.

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows: purl all sts and yo’s.

Row 7: edge st, k2tog, k2, yo, k1, * k2, yo, k2, skpo, k2tog, k2, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *; k2, yo, k2, skpo, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, k2tog, k1, yo, k2, * k3, yo, k1, skpo, k2tog, k1, yo, k2 *; repeat from * to *; k3, yo, k1, skpo, edge st.

Rows 11 and 13: edge st, k2tog, yo, k1, k2tog, yo, * (k1, yo, skpo) twice, k2tog, yo, k1, k2tog, yo *; repeat from * to *; (k1, yo, skpo) twice, edge st.

Row 15: edge st, k2tog, k1, yo, k2, * k3, yo, k1, skpo, k2tog, k1, yo, k2 *; repeat from * to *; k3, yo, k1, skpo, edge st.
