Lace Diamond Stitch Knitting Pattern
How to knit Lace Diamond Stitch:
Work with multiple of 10 sts + 2 edge sts.
Cast on 22 sts (4 + 10 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only Right Side Rows.
On Wrong Side Rows, purl all sts and yo’s.
The pat rep = 10 sts wide.
Begin with 1 edge st and 4 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 6 sts after patt and 1 edge st.
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
2-st RT: knit 2nd st before first st, without dropping from LH needle, knit the first st, drop both sts from LH needle
2-st LT: knit through the back loop 2nd st behind first st, without dropping from LH needle, knit the first st, drop both sts from LH needle
Row 1: edge st, k2, k2tog, yo, * 2-st LT, yo, skpo, k4, k2tog, yo, repeat from * to last 7 sts, 2-st LT, yo, skpo, k2, edge st.
Row 3: edge st, k1, k2tog, yo, 2-st LT, * 2-st RT, yo, skpo, k2, k2tog, yo, 2-st LT, repeat from * to last 6 sts, 2-st RT, yo, skpo, k1, edge st.
