How to knit Lace Diamond Stitch:

Work with multiple of 10 sts + 2 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 14 sts (10 + 2 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work sts as they appear; work yo’s P.

The pat rep = 10 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

Row 1: edge st, * p2, * yo, k1, p2, skpo, k3, p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * p2, * k1, yo, k1, p2, skpo, k2, p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * p2, * k2, yo, k1, p2, skpo, k1, p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * p2, * k3, yo, k1, p2, skpo, p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, * p2, * skpo, k3, p2, yo, k1, p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, * p2, * skpo, k2, p2, k1, yo, k1, p2, repeat from *, edge st.
