How to knit Lace Cable Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 17 stitches + 4 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 23 sts (17 + 4 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side and Wrong Side rows.

The patt rep = 17 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

C6F: slip 3 sts to cable needle, hold to front, K3, K3 from cable needle

C6B: slip 3 sts to cable needle, hold to back, K3, K3 from cable needle

Row 1: edge st, * yo, skpo, k15 *; repeat from * to *; yo, skpo, k2, edge st.

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows: purl all sts and yo’s.

Row 3: edge st, * k1, yo, skpo, k14 *; repeat from * to *; k1, yo, skpo, k1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k2, yo, skpo, C6B, k1, C6F *; repeat from * to *; k2, yo, skpo, edge st.

Repeat these 6 rows for pattern.
