Lace Cable Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Cable Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 22 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 25 sts (1 + 22 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, work all sts as they appear; work yo's Purl.

The pat rep = 22 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st and stitch before patt, work patt rep throughout, end with 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

C6F: slip 3 sts to cable needle, hold to front, K3, K3 from cable needle

C6B: slip 3 sts to cable needle, hold to back, K3, K3 from cable needle

Row 1: edge st, k1, * k5, yo, k2tog, skpo, k1, yo, k1, p2, k6, p2, k1 *; repeat from * to *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, k5, yo, k2tog, skpo, k1, yo, k2, p2, k6, p2, k1 *; repeat from * to *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, k4, yo, k2tog, skpo, k1, yo, k3, p2, k6, p2, k1 *; repeat from * to *, edge st.
