Lace Cable Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Cable Stitch:

Work with multiple of 15 stitches + 11 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 28 sts (5 + 15 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, work all sts as they appear; work yo's Purl.

The pat rep = 15 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st and 5 sts before patt, work patt rep throughout, end with 6 sts after patt rep and 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

C4F: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to front, K2, K2 from cable needle

Row 1: edge st, p1, k2tog, yo, k2, * k3, yo, skpo, p1, k4, p1, k2tog, yo, k2, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k2, yo, skpo, p1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, p1, k2, yo, skpo, * k1, k2tog, yo, k2, p1, k4, p1, k2, yo, skpo, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k1, k2tog, yo, k2, p1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, p1, k3, yo, * cdd, yo, k3, p1, C4F, p1, k3, yo, repeat from * to last 8 sts, cdd, yo, k3, p1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, p1, k1, k2tog, yo, k1, * k2, yo, skpo, k1, p1, k4, p1, k1, k2tog, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k2, yo, skpo, k1, p1, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.
