Fisherman's rib Stitch using only knit stitches

How to knit Fisherman's rib Stitch using only knit stitches:

Cast on an even number of sts (e.g. 12 sts) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows RS row and WS rows.

Read RS row from right to left, WS rows from left to right.

The pat rep = 2 sts wide.

 

Row 1 (Set-up WS row): knit all sts. 

Row 2 (RS): edge st, * k1, k in st below (= knit into stitch below, inserting needle from front through the st in the row below), repeat from * to the end of row, edge st.

Work rows 1-2 once, then repeat only row 2 throughout.
