Fancy Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Fancy Stitch:

Work with multiple of 23 sts + 4 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 29 sts (23 + 4 + 2 edge sts) and work according to the chart.

The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work sts as they appear.

The pat rep = 23 sts wide. 

Begin with 1 edge st, work patt repeat throughout, end with 4 sts after patt and 1 edge st.

C4B: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to back, K2, K2 from cable needle

work 3 sts from 3 sts: slip 2 sts together kwise, slip foll st kwise, place 3 sts back on left-hand needle and work (K1, yo, K1) into all 3 sts together through the back loop

work 3 sts from 3 sts right: K3tog without lifting them off the needle, 1 yo, K3tog in same 3 sts and drop them off the needle

work 3 sts from 3 sts left: slip foll 3 sts kwise to right-hand needle and place them back on left-hand needle, work (K1, yo, K1) into all 3 sts together through the back loop

Row 1: edge st, * k4, p2, k6, work 3 sts from 3 sts, k6, p2 *, repeat from * to *, k4, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * C4B, p2, k4, work 3 sts from 3 sts right, k1, work 3 sts from 3 sts left, k4, p2 *, repeat from * to *, c4b, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k4, p2, k2, work 3 sts from 3 sts right, k5, work 3 sts from 3 sts left, k2, p2 *, repeat from * to *, k4, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * c4b, p2, work 3 sts from 3 sts right, k1, work 3 sts from 3 sts left, k1, work 3 sts from 3 sts right, k1, work 3 sts from 3 sts left, p2 *, repeat from * to *, c4b, edge st.

Repeat rows 1-8 throughout.
