How to knit Fancy Stitch:

Multiple of 9 + 2 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 13 sts (9 + 2 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The pat rep = 9 sts wide.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

Row 1: edge st, * k2, yo (yarn over), skpo, p5, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k2, yo, k1, skpo, p4, k2, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k2, yo, k2, skpo, p3, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * k2, yo, k3, skpo, p2, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, * k2, yo, k4, skpo, p1, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, * k2, p5, k2tog, yo, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Row 13: edge st, * k2, p4, k2tog, k1, yo, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Row 15: edge st, * k2, p3, k2tog, k2, yo, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Row 17: edge st, * k2, p2, k2tog, k3, yo, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Repeat rows 1-20 throughout.
