Fancy Stitch Knitting Pattern

Work with a multiple of 27 stitches + 3 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 32 stitches (1 + 27 + 2 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.

The chart shows only right-side rows.

On wrong-side rows, purl all stitches and the yarn overs.

The pattern repeat is 27 stitches wide.

Begin with 1 edge stitch and 1 stitch before the pattern repeat, work the pattern repeat throughout, end with 2 stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 edge stitch.

k: knit stitch

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): Purl.
