Fancy Knitting Pattern

How to knit Fancy Stitch Pattern:

Work with multiple of 16 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 19 sts (16 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts and yo’s P.

The pat rep = 16 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Row 1: edge st, * k1, yo, k3, skpo, p5, k2tog, k3, yo, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k2, yo, k3, skpo, p3, k2tog, k3, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k3, yo, k3, skpo, p1, k2tog, k3, yo, k2, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * k4, yo, k3, cdd, k3, yo, k3, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Repeat rows 1-8 throughout.
