Eyelet Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Eyelet Stitch: 

Work with multiple of 3 stitches + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 11 sts (3 + 3 + 3 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts and yo’s P.

The pat rep = 3 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

work 2 sts from 3 sts: K2tog, with the left needle, pick up the last loop of the 2 sts knitted together and knit together through the back loop with the next stitch

Row 1: knit all sts.

Row 3: edge st, * yo, work 2 sts from 3 sts, repeat from * to last st, yo, edge st.

Row 5: knit all sts.

Row 7: edge st, skpo, * yo, work 2 sts from 3 sts, repeat from * to last 3 sts, yo, k2tog, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.
