How to knit Diamond Pattern:
Work with a multiple of 16 stitches + 3 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 21 stitches (16 + 3 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only Right Side Rows.
On Wrong Side Rows, work all stitches as they appear.
The pattern repeat = 16 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 edge stitch, work patt rep throughout, end with 3 stitches after patt rep and 1 edge stitch.
Abbreviation:
k: knit
p: purl
1/2 Right Cross: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to back, K1, K2 from cable needle

Row 1 (right side): edge stitch, * k7, p1, k3, p1, k4 *; repeat from * to *; k3, edge stitch.
Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): work stitches as they appear on this side of work.
