Diamond Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

Work with a multiple of 12 stitches + 2 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 16 stitches (1 + 12 + 1 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.

The chart shows only the right-side rows.

On the wrong-side rows, purl all the stitches and any yarn-over loops.

The pattern repeat is 12 stitches wide.

Begin with 1 edge stitch and 1 stitch before the pattern repeat, work the pattern repeat throughout, end with 1 stitch after the pattern repeat and 1 edge stitch.

yo: Yarn Over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

K3tog: knit 3 stitches together as one

sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): Purl.
