How to knit Dense Relief Stitch:
Multiple of 2 + 1 + 2 edge sts.
Cast on 11 sts (2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.
RS row and WS row are shown.
Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.
The pat rep = 2 sts.
Row 0 (Set-up row = Wrong Side): knit all sts.
Row 1 (RS): selvage st (edge), * P1, insert needle into st below row and pull out loop, place it onto LH needle, then knit this stitch together with the next stitch through back loop, repeat from *, end with P1, selvage st.
Row 2: knit all sts.
Work rows 0-2 once, then rep rows 1+2 throughout.
