Checker Stitch Knitting Pattern

Work with a multiple of 30 stitches + 6 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 38 stitches (30 + 6 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs, and knit the garter stitch sections.

The pattern repeat = 30 stitches wide.

Begin with 1 edge stitch, work the pattern repeat throughout, end with 6 stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 edge stitch.

k: Knit

p: Purl

yo: Yarn Over.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

1 st in garter stitch (gst): Knit in right side and wrong side rows

C4B: slip 2 stitches to cable needle, hold to back, K2, K2 from cable needle
