Cable Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Cable Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 12 sts + 4 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 30 sts (12 + 12 + 4 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side and Wrong Side rows.

Read Right Side rows from right to left, Wrong Side rows from left to right.

The pat rep = 12 sts.

p2tog: purl 2 stitches together

2-st RT: knit 2nd st without dropping from LH needle, knit first, drop both sts from LH needle together

2-st LT: knit 2nd st from behind without dropping from LH needle, knit first, drop both sts from LH needle together

C4F = Cable 4 Front: slip 2 sts to cn, hold to front, K2, K2 from cn

C4B = Cable 4 Back: slip 2 sts to cn, hold to back, K2, K2 from cn

Rows 1, 3, 5: edge st, * p1, yo (yarn over), p2tog, p1, k8, repeat from * to the last 5 sts, p1, yo, p2tog, p1, edge st.

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows: edge st, k1, yo, p2tog, k1, * p8, k1, yo, p2tog, k1, repeat from *, edge st.
