Fancy Stitch Knitting Pattern

Work with a multiple of 8 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 19 (1 + 8 + 8 + 2 edge) sts and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work all sts and yo’s P.

Begin with 1 edge st and sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with sts after patt and 1 edge st.

The pattern repeat = 8 stitches wide.

p: Purl

yo: yarn over

K4tog tbl: Knit 4 Together Thru back loop

K7tog tbl: Knit 7 Together Thru back loop

Row 1 (right side): edge stitch, k1, * yo, p7, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *; end with the edge stitch.

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): Purl.

Row 3: edge stitch, k2, * yo, p7, yo, k3 *; repeat from * to *; end with yo, p7, yo, k2, edge stitch.

Row 5: edge stitch, k3, * yo, p7, yo, k5 *; repeat from * to *; end with yo, p7, yo, k3, edge stitch.

Row 7: edge stitch, p4, * yo, K7tog tbl, yo, p7 *; repeat from * to *; end with yo, K4tog tbl, yo, p4, edge stitch.

Row 9: edge stitch, p4, * yo, k3, yo, p7 *; repeat from * to *; end with yo, k3, yo, p4, edge stitch.
