Gauge: 22.5 stitches and 34 rows = 4 x 4 in. (10 x 10 cm).
Front:
Cast on 125 (133) stitches and work 1.25 in. (3 cm) in Ribbing Pattern.
Continue in Pattern Sequence.
After 17.75 in. (45 cm) from cast-on decrease 1 stitch on both sides for the raglan shaping, then decrease 1 stitch 5 (9) times on every row and 1 stitch 27 times on every 2nd row using the raglan decreases.
At the same time after 22.75 (23.5) in. (58 (60) cm) from cast-on bind off the center 19 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately.
For neckline shaping at the inner edge bind off on every 2nd row 1 x 4 stitches, 2 x 3 stitches and 5 x 2 stitches = 24.75 (25.5) in. (63 (65) cm) from cast-on.
Back:
Work as Front, but without neckline shaping.
Sleeves:
Cast on 81 (89) stitches + 2 edge stitches and work 1.25 in. (3 cm) in Ribbing Pattern.
Work 32 rows of the border, then continue in Main Pattern, distributing the stitches from the center.
At the same time for sleeve shaping increase on both sides 1 stitch 3 times on every 2nd row and 1 stitch 8 times on every 3rd row, incorporating the increased stitches into the pattern = 105 (113) stitches.
After 5 in. (13 cm) from cast-on work the raglan shaping as for Front and after 12.25 (13) in. (31 (33) cm) from cast-on bind off all remaining stitches.
Finishing:
Sew the seams.
For the collar cast on 272 stitches and work in collar pattern, while evenly decreasing 16 x 1 stitch in rounds 19, 21, 39 and 43.
After the Ribbing Pattern bind off all stitches.
Sew the collar in place.
