Sweater with Seed Stitch and Cables

How to knit the sweater with seed stitch and cables:
Sizes: US 4–6 (10–12/14–16) / UK 8–10 (14–16/18–20).
Materials:
650 (700/750) g yarn (100% cotton; 115 m/50 g / approx. 126 yds/1.76 oz). Knitting needles size 3 mm (US 2.5) and 4 mm (US 6); circular needles size 3.5 mm (US 4), 40 cm / 16 inches long.

Ribbing Pattern, needles size 3 mm (US 2.5): Work alternately 1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch.
Seed Stitch: Work alternately 1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch, shifting the pattern in every row.
Main Pattern, needles size 4 mm (US 6):
Work according to the chart, which shows right-side rows only.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs or follow the instructions.
Repeat rows 1 through 84 throughout.

Gauge: 25 stitches x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.

Back:
Cast on 126 (138/148) stitches and work 3 cm / 1.2 inches in Ribbing Pattern, in the last row increase evenly 12 (14/16) stitches = 138 (152/164) stitches.
Continue in Main Pattern as follows:
for sizes US 4–6 and 14–16: edge stitch, 5 (6) pattern repeats, stitches 1 to 6 of the repeat, edge stitch; 
for size US 10–12: edge stitch, stitches 7 to 26 of the repeat, 5 pattern repeats, edge stitch.
At a height of 62 (63/64) cm / 24.4 (24.8/25.2) inches for the neckline bind off the middle 36 stitches, then on both sides in every 2nd row bind off 1 time 4 stitches and 1 time 2 stitches.
At the same time for shoulder shaping bind off in every 2nd row 3 times 11 stitches and 1 time 12 stitches
(4 times 13 stitches / 2 times 14 stitches and 2 times 15 stitches).


Front:
Work as for the back, but with a deeper neckline.
For this, at a height of 56 (57/58) cm / 22 (22.4/22.8) inches bind off the middle 16 stitches, then on both sides in every 2nd row bind off 1 time 4 stitches, 1 time 3 stitches, 2 times 2 stitches and 5 times 1 stitch.
At a height of 62 (63/64) cm / 24.4 (24.8/25.2) inches shape the shoulders as for the back.
Sleeves:
Cast on 48 (52/56) stitches and work 3 cm / 1.2 inches in Ribbing Pattern, in the last row increase evenly 14 (14/16) stitches = 62 (66/72) stitches.
Continue in Main Pattern, working row 1 as follows: edge stitch, stitches 13 to 26 (11 to 26 / 8 to 26) of the repeat, 1 pattern repeat, stitches 1 to 20 (1 to 22 / 1 to 25) of the repeat, edge stitch.
For sleeve shaping increase on both sides in every 4th row 13 times 1 stitch, then alternately in every 2nd and 4th row 20 times 1 stitch = 128 (132/138) stitches.
At a height of 43 cm / 16.9 inches bind off on both sides in every 2nd row 6 times 6 stitches, then bind off the remaining stitches.
Work the second sleeve in the same way.

Finishing:
Sew the seams, set in the sleeves.
Pick up 116 stitches along the neckline with circular needles and work 5 rounds knit stitches.
