Sweater in Wavy Pattern

How to knit the sweater in a wavy pattern:
Sizes: EU 38/42 (UK 10/14, US 6/10).
Measurements: bust approx. 92–104 cm (36–41 in).
Materials:
700 g cotton and acrylic yarn (153 yd/50 g). Needles size 3.5 mm (US 4) and circular needles size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Stockinette stitch, needles 3.5 mm: right-side rows knit stitches, wrong-side rows purl stitches.
Garter stitch, needles 3.5 mm: right-side and wrong-side rows knit stitches;
in the round, needles 3 mm: alternate 1 round knit stitches and 1 round purl stitches.
Main pattern, needles 3.5 mm: number of stitches divisible by 12 + 8 + 2 edge stitches.
Rows 1 - 3: knit stitches.
Row 4: purl stitches.
Row 5: 1 edge stitch, 1 knit stitch, ** 6 knit stitches, work the next 6 stitches additionally, 6 rows in stockinette stitch (1 bulge = * 6 knit stitches, turn, 6 purl stitches, turn and repeat from * 2 more times), 6 knit stitches and repeat from **, turn and finish with 6 knit stitches, 1 knit stitch, 1 edge stitch.
Row 6: purl stitches.
Rows 7 - 9: knit stitches.
Row 10: purl stitches.
Row 11: 1 edge stitch, 1 knit stitch, ** over the next 6 stitches work 1 bulge and 6 knit stitches, 6 knit stitches and repeat from **, then finish with 1 bulge, 6 knit stitches, 1 knit stitch, 1 edge stitch.
Row 12: purl stitches.
Repeat rows 1 - 12 throughout.

Gauge: 23.5 stitches and 26.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in).

Back:
Cast on 142 stitches and work 3 cm (1.2 in) in garter stitch for the hem.
Continue with the main pattern.
At a height of 62 cm (24.5 in) = 164 rows from the hem, bind off all stitches.
Front:
Work as for the back, but with a deeper neckline.
For this, at a height of 56 cm (22 in) = 148 rows from the hem, bind off the middle 20 stitches and finish both sides separately.
For shaping the neckline, bind off in every 2nd row 1 x 4 stitches, 2 x 2 stitches and 2 x 1 stitch.
Bind off the remaining 51 stitches at the same height as the back.
Sleeves:
Cast on 70 stitches and work 3 cm (1.2 in) in garter stitch for the hem.
Continue with the main pattern.
At the same time, for sleeve shaping increase on both sides every 4th row 25 x 1 stitch = 120 stitches.
At a height of 42 cm (16.5 in) = 112 rows from the hem, bind off all stitches.

Finishing:
Sew shoulder seams.
Sew side seams, leaving the upper 25.5 cm (10 in) open for armholes.
Pick up 108 stitches along the neckline with circular needles and work 8 rounds in garter stitch, then bind off all stitches.
Sew sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
